On Friday April 25, 2025 at 10:15 AM, Troopers arrested Richard Toles, age 48, of 55 School Street, Apartment #1, East Providence, RI for 1) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Fentanyl) and 2) an active Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving With a Suspended License originating out of the East Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 37 East in the City of Warwick. Toles was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
On Friday April 25, 2025 at 10:37 PM, Troopers arrested Brian Rivera, age 33, of 28 Middle Street, Pawtucket, RI for Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Crack Cocaine). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Lonsdale Avenue in the City of Central Falls. Rivera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
On Saturday April 26, 2025 at 2:46 AM, Troopers arrested Wender Garcia Perez, age 31, of 129 Bellevue Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense (BAC Unknown) and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Breath Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street in the City of Providence. Garcia Perez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
