On April 24, 2025, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Jose F. Mendez, age 29, of 20 Dunnell Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Disorderly Conduct; and 2) Willful Trespass. Mr. Mendez was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and held as a Bail Violator pending a morning arraignment in Third District Court.
On April 25, 2025, members of the Detective Bureau arrested Wilson Ventura, age 38, of 15 Lawrence Street, Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Manufacturing with the Intent to Deliver Schedule II, 1 Oz - 1 Kilo (Cocaine); 2) Manufacturing with the Intent to Deliver Schedule II (Cocaine); 3) Manufacturing with the Intent to Deliver Schedule I (Marijuana); 4) Manufacturing with the Intent to Deliver Schedule V (Xylazine); 5) Controlled Substance Conspiracy; 6) Four (4) counts of Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 7) Four (4) counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person; 8) Possession of a Stolen Firearm; 9) Four (4) counts of Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 10) Resisting Arrest; 11) Driving After License Suspended - Certain Violations; 12) License Required for a Business Renting Motor Vehicles; and 13) Conspiracy. Mr. Ventura was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, held as a Superior Court Violator, and transported to the ACI.
On April 25, 2025, members of the Detective Bureau arrested Myishia Johnson, age 38, of 15 Lawrence Street, Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) License Required for a Business Renting Motor Vehicles; 2) Conspiracy; and 3) Driving After License Suspended - Certain Violations. Ms. Johnson was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, held as a Bail Violator, and transported to the Women's Intake Center.
On April 25, 2025, members of the Detective Bureau arrested Algelys Ventura, age 40, of 186 Peace Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Manufacturing with the Intent to Deliver Schedule II, 1 Oz - 1 Kilo (Cocaine); 2) Controlled Substance Conspiracy; 3) Three (3) counts of Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 4) Three (3) counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person; and 5) Four (4) counts of Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited. Mr. Ventura was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, held as a Bail Violator, and transported to the ACI.
On April 28, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Luis Aceituno, age 27, of 47 Salmon Street Apt. 102, Providence, Rhode Island, on a Federal Arrest Warrant for Interstate Transportation of Stolen Property and Conspiracy. Mr. Aceituno was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Federal Courthouse.
On April 28, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Michael H. Gates, age 35, last known address of 15 Oakwood Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Technical Violation for an original charge of Possession of Child Pornography originating from the Rhode Island State Police; and 2) Escape from Custody (Home Confinement). Mr. Gates was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
