Lincoln Woods Barracks

On Friday May 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Michael Gustafson, age 50, of 6 Capital Street, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance- Schedule I-V (Ecstasy) and 2.) Possession of a Controlled Substance- Schedule I-V (Adderall). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Magnan Road, in the City of Providence. Gustafson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned/presented as a bail violator at the Sixth Division District Court.

On Friday May 2, 2025 at 3:30 PM, Troopers arrested Patrick Albarracin, age 34, of 125 Norton Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island for Leaving the scene of an Accident Resulting in Damage to Attending Vehicle. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject turning himself in at the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Albarracin was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

On Saturday May 3, 2025 at 1:23 AM, Troopers arrested Ruby Gomes, age 25, of 12 Edna Circle, East Freetown, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Eddy Street in the City of Providence. Gomes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.

On Saturday May 3, 2025 at 2:06 AM, Troopers arrested Luis Garcia, age 29, of 50 Belmont Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Eddy Street in the City of Providence. Garcia was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.

On Saturday May 3, 2025 at 2:26 AM, Troopers arrested Elhadj Niang, age 38, of 1 Olmstead Way, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown, 2.) Reckless Driving, and 3.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident involving a State Police cruiser on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. Niang was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for evaluation, released, processed at the Lincoln Woods Baracks, and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator.
