At 10:42 PM, Troopers arrested Joseph Goncalves, age 46, of 117 Englewood Avenue Apartment #3, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V less 10 Grams (Cocaine) 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Shoplifting, originating out of the Lincoln Police Department, 3.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Shoplifting, originating out of the Smithfield Police Department, 4.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Shoplifting and Conspiracy, originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, 5.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Shoplifting, originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, 6.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Shoplifting and Conspiracy, originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 7.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Larceny, originating out of the Lincoln Police Department, 8.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Shoplifting, originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 9.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge Possession of Stolen Vehicle, originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, and 10.) Fugitive From Justice (FFJ) out of the North Attleboro Police Department on the original charge of Shoplifting. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street, in the City of Central Falls. Goncalves was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment/presentment at the Sixth Division District Court.
