On June 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jose Valerio, age 48, of 29 Sassafras Street, Providence, Rhode Island for an active Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for a Reciprocal Body Attachment originating out of Family Court. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Admiral Street in the City of Providence. Valerio was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On June 7, 2025, at 10:52 PM, Troopers arrested Christine Heeks, age 35, of 165 Oakland Avenue, Apartment #3, Providence, Rhode Island for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving Without a License. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broadway in the City of Providence. Heeks was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women's Intake Center.
On June 7, 2025, at 11:44 PM, Troopers arrested Raul Soto, age 21, of 25 Mowry Street, Apartment #1, Central Falls, Rhode Island for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1) Disorderly Conduct and 2) Simple Assault originating out of the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Central Falls Police Department subsequently taking Soto into custody. Soto was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace as a probation violator, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On June 8, 2025, at 1:39 AM, Troopers arrested Abel Castro, age 34, of 28 Slater Street, Apartment #1, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Heath Street in the City of Providence. Castro was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On June 8, 2025, at 3:11 AM, Troopers arrested Raphael Santos, age 34, of 60 Berkley Street, Apartment #2, Taunton, Massachusetts, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Taunton Avenue in the City of East Providence. Santos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
