At 10:25 PM, Troopers arrested Edney Afonso, age 20, of 91 Harvard Street, Providence, Rhode Island for Failure to Stop in Accident resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Troopers and the Pawtucket Police Department taking Afonso into custody. Afonso was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth District Court.
At 10:30 PM, Troopers arrested Alexander Burns, age 38, of 5 Handy Street, Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest warrant on the charges of 1.) Domestic Disorderly and 2.) Domestic Vandalism originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Lonsdale Avenue in the City of Pawtucket. Burns was processed at the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
At 12:30 AM, Troopers arrested Kile Hilliard, age 35, of 339 Court Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts as a Fugitive from Justice out of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the charge of Possession of a Firearm. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Rhode Island Hospital and taking custody of Hilliard. Hilliard was arraigned by a Justice of Peace and later turned over to the custody of the Rhode Island Sheriff's Department, pending re-arraignment at 6th Division District Court.
At 2:09 AM, Troopers arrested Thomas Lopardo Jr., age 42, of 31 Ferncrest Boulevard, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown – 1st offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 2nd offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Smith Street in the City of Providence. Lopardo was processed at the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 4:09 AM, Troopers arrested Tyler Bruce, age 28, of 78 Railroad Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the North Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Quincy Avenue in the City of Pawtucket. Bruce was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
