On June 6, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jordan Carl, age 18, of 131 Blackamore Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Middletown Police Department for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon. Mr. Carl was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Middletown Police Department.

On June 6, 2025, members of the Computer Crimes Unit arrested Nasir Mahmood, age 56, of 150 DePasquale Avenue #3, Providence, Rhode Island, for Indecent Solicitation of a Child. Mr. Mahmood was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, then to Kent County District Court for arraignment. The Honorable Judge Carulo issued bail at $5,000 with surety along with limited internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors.

On June 7, 2025, members of the Financial Crimes Unit and the Scituate Barracks arrested James Ford, age 41, last known address of 720 Mother Gaston Boulevard, Apartment #4C, Brooklyn, New York, for the following: 1) Identity Fraud; 2) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses Over $1500; and 3) Passing of Counterfeit Bill or Notes. Mr. Ford was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI.

On June 9, 2025, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Blaze Torres, age 20, of 254 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver A Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 2) Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; and 3) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol. Mr. Torres was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, then turned over to the ACI Intake Center pending his morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
