At 9:59 AM Troopers arrested Steven Smith, age 64, of 4 River Street, Wood River Junction, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting and Conspiracy originating out of the Smithfield Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Smith was transported to the Rhode Island State Police - Wickford Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Smithfield Police Department.
At 12:17 AM, Troopers arrested Elizabeth Camara, age 49, of 152 Bell Avenue, Riverside, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Camara was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
