At 11:35 PM, Troopers arrested Richard Alves, age 39, of 35 North Hampton Street, Boston, Massachusetts, for an affidavit arrest warrant originating from the Cumberland Police Department on the original charge of 1.) Domestic Violence- Simple Assault, and 2.) Domestic Violence- Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a pedestrian walking on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the custody of the Cumberland Police Department.
At 12:50 AM, Troopers arrested Jossie Gomez, age 35, of 141 Ledge Street, Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance - 10 Grams or Less (Fentanyl). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Smithfield Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and was held overnight to be presented as a violator at Sixth Division District Court.
At 12:50 AM, Troopers arrested Ezra Sayles, age 23, of 69 Job Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty, and 2.) Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Smithfield Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
