Scituate Barracks

On Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, at 6:44 AM, Troopers arrested Stephen Taylor III, age 23, of 27 Greeley Street Floor 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) an active Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – 4th or Subsequent Offense, originating out of the Rhode Island State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, and 2.) Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – 4th and Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle crash on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

On Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, at 10:01 AM, Troopers arrested Adesola Oremosu, age 43, of 70 Sophia Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charges of 1.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses > $10,000; 2.) Fraudulently Obtaining Public Assistance Checks > $500; 3.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps > $500; and 4.) Giving a False Document to a Public Official. The arrest was the result of an investigation by members of the Scituate Barracks and the Warwick Police Department locating the subject. The subject was later transported to the State Police – Scituate Barracks, where she was processed, and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, at 1:30 AM, Troopers arrested Maximiliano Recio, age 32, of 116 West Clifford Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 to .15 (Phase I: 0.113% & Phase II: 0.123%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment where he will be presented as a Superior Court probation violator.
