At 10:20 AM, Troopers arrested William Ellis, age 48, of 1776 Bicentennial Way, North Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks for the charges of: 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, 2.) Fraud Use of Food Stamps, 3.) Fraudulently Obtaining Public Assistance, 4.) Identity Fraud and 5.) Giving False Documents to Public Officials. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and subsequent location of the suspect on a motor vehicle stop in the Town of Coventry. Ellis was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and transported to Sixth Division District Court for Arraignment.
At 8:28 PM, Troopers arrested Maxwell Ferrara, age 62, of 40 Hazard Ave, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and was released to a responsible adult.
At 10:32 PM, Troopers arrested Daniel Johnson, age 52, of 3683 Tower Hill Road, Wakefield, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4, in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was transported to the BAT Mobile where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of Peace, and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
