On July 31, 2025, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Donald Turchetta, age 68, of 34 Columbus Street Apt. 2, Providence, Rhode Island, for Willful Trespass. Mr. Turchetta was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and released with a future arraignment date at Kent County Courthouse.
On July 31, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Woonsocket Police Department arrested James Ruth, age 36, of 29 Cottage Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on a Federal Arrest Warrant for Escape from Custody. Mr. Ruth was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rhode Island Federal Courthouse.
On July 31, 2025, members of the Special Victims Unit, the Major Crimes Unit, the Tactical Team, the Lincoln Barracks and the Scituate Barracks arrested Jose Gutierrez, age 25, of 77 Union Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Indecent Solicitation of a Minor (2 counts); and, 2) Obstruction. Mr. Gutierrez was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of a Peace and released.
On July 31, 2025, members of the Special Victims Unit, the Major Crimes Unit, the Tactical Team, the Lincoln Barracks and the Scituate Barracks arrested Luis Fernando Diaz, age 25, of 77 Union Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Obstruction. Mr. Diaz was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of a Peace and released.
