At approximately 8:00 AM, Troopers arrested Antoine Kerr, age 29, of 39 Rentschler Street, East Hartford, Connecticut for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the original charges of 1.) Identity Fraud; 2.) Receiving Stolen Goods > $10,000; 3.) Conspiracy – Felony Less Than Five Years; and 4.) Conspiracy – Felony Less Than Five Years. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation by Troopers and Mr. Kerr turning himself into the Hope Valley Barracks. The subject was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and later transported to the Third Division District Court for arraignment.
At approximately 2:37 PM Troopers arrested Charles Smith, age 38, of 11 Sparrow Drive, Westerly, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence – Simple Assault/Persons Over the Age of Sixty – Second Offense; and 2.) Domestic Violence – Disorderly Conduct – Second Offense. The arrest was the result of a two (2) car accident on South County Trail at Exeter Road in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men's Intake.
