At 9:41 PM, Troopers arrested Connor Bannon, age 37, of 130 Whitford Street, Wakefield, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V – Ten Grams or Less (Cocaine). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane in the City of Warwick. Bannon was processed at the State Police-Hope Valley Barracks, later held as a bail violator overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.
At 1:40 AM, Troopers arrested Deborah Champlin age 64, of 55 Fenner Hill Road, Hope Valley, RI, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence B.A.C. unknown-First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test-Second offense, and 3.) Reckless Driving. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a Wrong Way driver on Route 95 North in the Town of Exeter. Champlin was transported to the State Police-Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed and later arraigned by Justice of the Peace and released with a future Fourth District Court Date.
