On August 21, 2025 at 10:58 PM, Troopers arrested Edgar Lopes, age 57, of 25 Rye Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C .15 or Greater – Second Offense (Phase I: 0.248%, Phase II: 0.243%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue at Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
