On Friday August 22, 2025, at 9 :25 AM, Troopers arrested Norman Hicks, age 58 of 163 Rockland Street, North Easton, Massachusetts for 1.) Leaving the Scene of an Accident Damage to Attended Vehicles and 2.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty. This arrest was the result of a Barracks Investigation and Hicks turning himself in at the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Hicks was processed and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Saturday August 23, 2025, at 1:50 AM, Troopers arrested Immanuel Tino, age 26, of 132 Oakland Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Eluding from Law Enforcement – High Speed Pursuit – 1st Offense, 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown – 1st Offense, 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 2nd Offense, 4.) Driving after Suspended License for Certain Violations – 1st Offense and 5.) Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving Under the Influence – BAC Unknown originating out of the East Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of motor vehicle pursuit that was initiated on Route 146 North at Charles Street, in the City of Providence, after Tino drove at and struck a Providence Police Officer, and subsequent motor vehicle stop in the Town of Lincoln. Tino was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On Saturday August 23, 2025, at 2:05 AM, Troopers arrested Escarlin Herrera, age 28, of 769 President Avenue, Apartment 1, Fall River, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown – 1st Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – 1st Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of North Providence. Herrera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into custody of a responsible adult.
