At 9:07 PM, Troopers arrested Nicholas Lombardi, age 64, of 547 Mail Road, Exeter, Rhode Island, for an active Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment original charge of Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of Troopers issuing a No Trespass Order at the subject's residence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 9:25 PM, Troopers arrested Matthew Ventura, age 61, of 202 Haverhill Avenue, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drug – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was transported to the Rhode Island State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and release into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 12:34 AM, Troopers arrested Joseph Taveras, age 27, of 72 Appleton Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for an active Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving Without Consent of Owner, originating out of the East Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Service Center.
At 2:50 AM, Troopers arrested Cristhian Ashqui, age 28, of 304 Ferry Street, New Haven, Connecticut, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drug – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to assist West Greenwich Police with a motor vehicle stop on Nooseneck Hill Road in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment in Third Division District Court.
