On Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 9:15 PM, Troopers arrested Louis Whitehead age 45, of 4542 Scott Street Columbus, Georgia, for 1.) Manufacturing with Intent to Deliver Schedule I-II Controlled Substance – First Offense, 2.) Resisting legal or illegal arrest, 3.) Possession of Marijuana-More than Two Ounces, and 4.) Possession of Schedule I-V controlled Substance 10 Grams or less. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South, in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned as a bail violator and transported to the Adult Corrections Institute-Men's intake, pending arraignment at Third District Division Court.
On Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 3:52 AM, Troopers arrested Robert Gencarella age 27, of 275 Waterman Hill Road, Greene, Rhode Island for 1) a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance, out of the West Warwick Police Department, 2) Office of the Courts for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended/revoked License out of the Coventry Police Department, and 3) Office of the Courts Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License, out of the Coventry Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of East Greenwich. Gencarella was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute-Men's Intake.
