At 11:01 PM, Troopers arrested Tiondra Thomas, age 43 , of 9 Pine Street, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor - B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 East in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
At 1:30 AM, Troopers arrested Arminda Costa, age 52, of 24 Belfield Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor - .10 to .15 – First Offense (Phase I: 0.139%, Phase II: 0.141%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Interstate 295 South, in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
