At 2:41PM, Troopers arrested Gary Hutley, age 38, of 229 Valley Street, Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Larceny > 1,500 originating out of the East Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the town of North Kingstown. Hutley was transported to the Rhode Island State Police- Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the East Providence Police Department.
At 4:59PM, Troopers arrested Matia Alvarez, age 30, of 767 Admiral Street Apt. 2, Providence, Rhode Island for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Cranston. Alvarez was transported to the Rhode Island State Police- Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date.
At 7:09PM, Troopers arrested Yvonn Thurin, age 33, of 34 Central Avenue, Everett, Massachusetts on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses – Greater than $1500.00, 2.) Passing of Counterfeit Bills/Certificates and 3.) Counterfeiting in General originating out of the State Police – Wickford Barracks. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Trooper Felice and Providence Police Department locating the subject. Mr. Thurin was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date.
At 9:47 PM, Troopers arrested Glenn Bruhn, age 37, of 59 Estelle Boulevard, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Bruhn was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
