The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institutions Special Investigations Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Morra was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a Superior Court violator and remanded to the ACI.

Mr. Johnston was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Connecticut.
On Friday, September 12, 2025, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Christian R. Skawski, age 34, of 12 Lincoln Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island, for Obtaining Property by False Pretenses over $1,500. This arrest was the result of an investigation by the Financial Crimes Unit and Mr. Skawski turning himself in at State Police Headquarters. Mr. Skawski was processed and transported to Third Division District Court, where he was arraigned and released on $30,000 personal recognizance.
