At 12:30 PM, Troopers arrested Breanna Northup, age 32, of 78 Oak Street, Apartment 12, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Property Under False Pretenses > $10,000, 2.) Fraudulently Obtaining Assistance and 3.) False Statement to Obtain Replacement Public Assistance originating out of the State Police Scituate Barracks. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation by Trooper Hawkins and Woonsocket Police Department locating the subject. Northup was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed and later transported to the Sixth District Court for arraignment.
At 2:30 PM, Troopers arrested Miguel Diaz, age 64, of 6025 Bamboo Drive, Orlando, Florida on 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for ATP on the charge of Willful Tresspass originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department and 2.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of Capitol Police taking the subject into custody at the Division of Motor Vehicles. Diaz was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake Center.
