At 1:40 AM, Troopers arrested Pavan R. Nakkala, age 30, of 131 Federal Way, Apartment 202, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor / Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
