At 8:19 PM, Troopers arrested David Pereira, age 63, of 23 Osceloa Avenue, Narragansett, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving while Under the Influence – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to an erratic operator and subsequently locating the vehicle on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Pereira was transported to the State Police -Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 11:55 PM, Troopers arrested Marcus Exavier, age 31, of 16 Ellis Street, Brockton, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving while Under the Influence - B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to an erratic operator and subsequently locating the vehicle on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. Pereira was transported to the State Police -Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
