On September 24, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Richard DiPanni, age 59, of 275 West Natick Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Cranston Police Department for the following: 1) Violation of No Contact Order; and 2) Violation of No Contact Order, third offense. Mr. DiPanni was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Cranston Police Department on scene.
On September 24, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Woonsocket Police Department arrested Isaiha T. Griffin, age 27, of 100 Monty Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on a Fugitive from Justice Warrant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Threat - Terroristic - State Offenses. Mr. Griffin was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Woonsocket Police Department on scene.
On September 24, 2025, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Lindsey Burdick, age 41, of 426 Carpenter Road, Scituate, Rhode Island, for Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses Over $10,000. Ms. Burdick was special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date.
On September 24, 2025, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Marta Martinez, age 34, of 17 Mill Street, Johnston, Rhode Island, for Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses Over $10,000. Ms. Martinez was special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date.
On September 25, 2025, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Ronald S. Shoemaker, age 20, of 65 Ottawa Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Child Pornography; and 2) Transfer of Child Pornography. Mr. Shoemaker was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and to Third District Court. Mr. Shoemaker was arraigned by the Honorable Magistrate Ippolito, who issued $5,000 surety bail, with special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access.
On September 25, 2025, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Felix A. Cortes, age 38, of 611 Chicago Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, on the following: 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver - Fentanyl - Ounce to Kilogram; 2) Fugitive From Justice; 3) Massachusetts Parole Board Warrant for Breaking and Entering with Intent to Commit Felony. Mr. Cortes was taken into custody without incident, processed at the Lincoln Barracks, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions pending a morning arraignment in Third District Court.
