At 12:49 AM, Troopers arrested Timothy Murray, age 55 of 2 W Beach Street, Westerly, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – B.A.C Unknown - First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Taunton Avenue in the City of East Providence. Murray was transported to the Operation Blue Riptide B.A.T. Mobile for processing and later misdemeanor released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
At 1:31 AM, Troopers arrested Victor Cruz, age 36 of 15 Detroit Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – B.A.C Unknown - First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense and 3.) Reckless Driving- Second Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Orms Street in the City of Providence. Cruz was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court date where he will be presented as a Bail Violator.
At 2:07 AM, Troopers arrested Sylvia Moore-Smith, age 35 of 1 Eldon Street, Dorchester, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – B.A.C Unknown - First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense and 3.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. Moore-Smith was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
