At 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Steven Rogers, age 28, of 10 Carrie Ann Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the North Providence Police Department on the charge of Fraud and 2.) an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Cranston Police Department on the charge of Domestic Disorderly Conduct – Third or Subsequent Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. Rogers was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
At 11:30 AM, Troopers arrested Gino Neri, age 30, of 88 Chandler Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Simple Assault and Battery and 2.) Two Affidavit and Arrest Warrants for Shoplifting originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Sixth Division District Court to assist the Sheriff's with an assault at Sixth Division District Court. Mr. Neri was arraigned at Sixth Division District Court, where he was presented as a probation violator.
