At 8:42 PM, Troopers arrested Kelly Lechman, age 43, of 20 Colony Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs BAC Unknown – First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense and 3.) Duty to stop in accidents resulting in damage to vehicle. This arrest was the result of a Troopers responding to the residence of Lechman after she left the scene of an accident on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. Lechman was processed at Scituate Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 12:14 AM, Troopers arrested Wendy Gadrow, age 47, of 18 Acorn Court Unit F6, Wakefield, Rhode Island, for 1.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Shoplifting over 100 – 2nd Offense originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department. 2.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Shoplifting over 100 – 2nd Offense originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department. 3.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Shoplifting over 100 – 2nd Offense originating out of the Warwick Police Department. 4.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Shoplifting over 100 – 2nd Offense originating out of the Cranston Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. Gadrow was processed at Scituate Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Women's Intake Center.
