At 4:00 AM, Troopers arrested Tomas Ajeataz Mejia, age 28, of 35 Horace Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – Second Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third District Court date.
