At 9:45 AM, Troopers arrested Charnay Brown, age 26, of 42 Glenham Street, Providence Rhode Island for 1.) Bank Fraud (2 Counts), 2.) Fraudulent Checks Over $1,500.00 (2 Counts) and 3.) Conspiracy. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation by Troopers N. Palumbo and Guindon, and Brown who turned herself in to the Wickford Barracks. Brown was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a pending Third Division District Court appearance.
At 10:43 PM, Troopers arrested Lisa M. Couture, age 33, of 350 Samuel Gorton Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – .15 or Greater First Offense (Phase I: .224% BrAC, Phase II: .223% BrAC). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Beacon Avenue, in the Town of Jamestown. Couture was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult with a pending Second Division District court appearance.
At 3:30 AM, Troopers arrested Nelly Mazuelos, age 45, of 18 Mansfield Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Mazuelos was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult with a pending Third Division District court appearance
