On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:44 AM, Troopers arrested Shyler Wills, age 32, of 228 Oxford Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Domestic - Violation of a Protection Order. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue, in the City of Providence. Wills was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned/presented as a bail violator and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 6:30 PM, Troopers arrested Joel Tavarez, age 42, of 200 Brayton Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charge of Fifth Degree Arson originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 South, in the City of Providence. Tavarez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and then turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 7:37 PM, Troopers arrested Biady Richemond, Jr., age 21, of 100 Francis Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obstruction and 2.) Driving with a Suspended License – Fourth Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, in the City of Providence. Richemond was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:16 PM, Troopers arrested Mary Bennett, age 78, of 47 Mink Road, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs BAC Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Raymond Street, in the City of Providence. Bennett was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
