At 11:42 AM, Troopers arrested Andre Rodriguez, age 44, of 84 Ledge Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Resisting Arrest, 2.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, 3.) Disorderly Conduct, 4.) Affidavit or Arrest Warrant on the Original Charge of Burglary out of the City of Providence 5.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment of the original charge of Grand Theft Larceny and Unlawful Breaking and Entering of Dwelling House, and 6.) A Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the Original Charge of Attempted Breaking and Entering originating out of Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop and subsequent foot pursuit on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. Rodriguez was transported to Roger Williams Hospital for an evaluation, then transported to State Police Headquarters for processing, and held overnight pending arraignment at Sixth Division District Court where he will be presented as a Bail Violator.
At 11:30 PM, Troopers arrested Moises Delgado, age 23, of 64 Payton Street, Apartment 41, Providence, Rhode Island for Possession of Marijuana – More than Two Ounces (7.43 ounces). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue at Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court where he will be presented as a Superior Court Probation Violator.
