On Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 10:11 AM, Troopers arrested Randy J. Martin, age 52, of 14 Douglas Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for arraignment, on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. Martin was processed at the Wickford Barracks where he was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 1:14 AM, Troopers arrested John Dorfils, age 25, of 1370 Acushnet Ave Apt #2, New Bedford, Massachusetts on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty, originating out of the State Police-Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Dorfils was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 2:50 AM, Troopers arrested Elvis Beltran, age 60, of 17 Kearsarge Street Apt #25, New Bedford, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC .10 to .15 – 1st Offense (Phase I 0.123%, Phase II 0.122%). The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Beltran was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third District Court date.
