On Monday, October 27, 2025, at 12:10 PM, Troopers arrested Hector M. Viruet Hernandez, age 42, of 1576 Main Street Apartment C, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I-IV Controlled Substance (Cocaine) - 3rd + Offense, 2.) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I-IV Controlled Substance (Cocaine) - 1st Offense, 3.) Distribution or Manufacturing in or Near Schools - 1st Offense, and 4.) Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police - Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.
