On October 30, 2025 at 2:32 PM, Troopers arrested Dasho Contreras, age 34, of 368 Malton Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Sexual Offender- Failure to Notify Change of Address originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correction Institution- Men's Intake.
