At 7:45 AM, Troopers arrested Debra Ottaviano, age 60, of 35 Esmond Street, Smithfield, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Embezzlement and Fraudulent over $100, 2.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/ Personation over $10,000, and 3.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes originating out of the State Police Scituate Barracks. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Trooper Hawkins and Ms. Ottaviano turning herself in to State Police Headquarters. Ottaviano was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 12:58 AM, Troopers arrested Rebecca Dorsi, age 31, of 492 Providence Street, Floor 2, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a disabled motor vehicle on Route 295 North in the Town of Smithfield. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 12:58 AM, Troopers arrested Doel Figueroa, age 36, of 200 Heroux Boulevard, Cumberland, Rhode Island for Domestic Violence – Criminal Violation of No Contact Order – Third or Subsequent Offense. This arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a disabled motor vehicle on Route 295 North in the Town of Smithfield. The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight as a probation violator.
