On November 15, 2025 at 12:06 PM, Troopers arrested Jaime Torres, age 34, of 15 Ring Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I to Schedule V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less, originating out of the Rhode Island State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, then later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men's Intake Center.
On November 15, 2025 at 4:04 PM, Troopers arrested Eliezer Ortiz, age 34, of 34 Vose Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of 1.) Second-Degree Child Abuse, originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Vose Street in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
