At 11:25 AM, Troopers arrested Tatiana Valdez, age 38, of 99 Rugby Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for the original charge of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation greater than $10,000 originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Ms. Valdez was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where she was processed and later transported to the ACI-Women's Intake Center.
At 8:30 PM, Troopers arrested George Torres, age 30, of 137 Hanover Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, 2.) Driving with a Suspended License – 4th/Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle collision on Route 6 East in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight as a bail/probation violator.
At 11:24 PM, Troopers arrested Charles Ziade, age 44, of 1723 Gulf Road, Tarpon Springs, Florida, for 1.) Fugitive from Justice for the original charge of Larceny originating out of the Pinella County Sheriff's Department, and 2.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substances – Less than 10 Grams (Percocet). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bowers Street in the City of Pawtucket. Ziade was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake Service Center.
