On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 4:00 AM, Troopers arrested Tariq Famogun, age 26, of 460 Pine Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence – Violation of a No Contact Order – First Offense and 2.) Obstruction of an Officer in Execution of Duty. This arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash on South County Trail, in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight as a probation violator.
