On Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at 11:55 p.m., Troopers arrested Brandon White, age 29, of 100 Chapel Street, Newton, Massachusetts, for 1.) DUI of Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was a result of motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.
On Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, at 12:40 a.m., Troopers arrested James Gowdy, age 49, of 114 Pinehurst Street, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense and 3) Reckless Driving - First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a wrong way motor vehicle collision on Route 95 South, in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.
