On April 6, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jose Contreras, age 36, of 133 Burnett Street 3rd Floor, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1) Domestic Violence - Felony Assault; 2) Disorderly Violence - Disorderly Conduct; and 3) Domestic Violence - Violation of No Contact Order. Mr. Contreras was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.

On April 6, 2026, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Andre Bland, age 32, of 43 Lancashire Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; and 4) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine. Mr. Bland was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned. He was later transported to the ACI pending his arraignment in Sixth District Court in the morning.

On April 7, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Willy Medina, age 20, of 81 Lincoln Avenue, Apartment 2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department for the following: 1) License Required to Carry Pistol; 2) Firing in Compact Area; 3) Vandalism; and 4) Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Medina was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department on scene.

On April 8, 2026, members of the HIDTA Task Force and the Massachusetts State Police CINRET Task Force arrested William Hancock, age 38, of 20 Water Street, Johnston, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Fentanyl; 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine; 3) Possession of a Schedule I-V (Trenbolone); and 4) Possession of a Schedule I-V (Testosterone). Mr. Hancock was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed. He was later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

On April 8, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Miguel Angel Camilo, age 36, of 37 Geneva Street 2nd Floor, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1) Felony Assault - Stabbing. Mr. Camilo was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.

On April 8, 2026, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Marco Cameron, age 19, of 47 Grant Avenue Floor 1, Cranston, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Child Pornography; and 2) Transfer of Child Pornography. Mr. Cameron was transported to the Lincoln Barracks and processed. He was later transported to Third Division District Court. Mr. Cameron was arraigned before the Honorable Magistrate Joseph P. Ippolito, where bail was set at $5,000 personal recognizance with special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors, as well as limited internet access.
