Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 9:45 AM, Troopers arrested David Barientes, age 60, of 90 Miller Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment for Violation of Probation originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of the Capitol Police locating Barrientes at the DMV and turning him over to State Police. Barrientes was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Superior Court.

At 10:10 AM, Troopers arrested Ross Quiron, age 26, of for 195 Midwood Street, Cranston, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Reckless Driving – First Offense, originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation conducted by Troopers, and Cranston Police Department subsequently taking Quiron into custody. Quiron was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and transported to Third Division District Court.

At 10:44 PM, Troopers arrested Jerome Collins, age 25, of 14 Armington Avenue, Apartment #14, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving After Suspension of License Certain Violations – First Offense and 2.) Driving After Suspension of License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Sackett Street in the City of Providence. Collins was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending arraignment at Sixth Division District Court, where he will be presented as bail violator.

At 1:35 AM, Troopers arrested Carlos J. Rodriguez, age 22, of 49 Imera Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine – 1 Ounce to 1 Kilogram; 2.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine); 3.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Marijuana); 4.) Eluding Law Enforcement in a Vehicle – High Speed Pursuit – First Offense; 5.) Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty; 6.) Resisting Arrest; 7.) Driving After Suspension of License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense; 8.) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle; 9.) Conspiracy; 10.) Possession of Stolen Property Outside the State >$10,000. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle pursuit and subsequent apprehension on Fillmore Street, in the City of Providence. Rodriguez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending arraignment at Sixth Division District Court, where he will be presented as bail/probation violator.
