At 1:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jean Rodriguez, age 32, of 39 March Street, Apt A, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Status for Trial as a Fugitive From Justice out of the State of Rhode Island and 2.) Driving on a Suspended License – 4th or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court.
At 12:35 AM, Troopers arrested Jorge Luis Calderon Gonzalez, age 56, of 5701 W 26th Apt. 7, Hialeah, Florida for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.180 % & Phase II: 0.191%). The arrest was the result of an erratic operator call and Troopers subsequently locating the suspect vehicle on Union Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
