At 9:52 PM, Troopers arrested Derek Diaz, age 26, of 1700 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) An Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Driving with Expired License or Without License – 4th+ Offense, 2.) Driving With Expired License or Without License – 4th+ Offense, and 3.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – Second Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident investigation on the exit 24 off ramp from Route 95 South to Route 2 in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight as a probation violator pending morning arraignment.
