At 9:45 AM, Troopers arrested Ryan Gobern, age 49, of 44 Cole Street, East Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle and 2.) Driving on a Suspended License 4th + Offense (12th Offense). This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a hit and run motor vehicle accident and Troopers locating the suspect and vehicle on Douglas Avenue in the City of Providence. Gobern was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 11:00 AM, Troopers arrested Thomas Farizer, age 64, of 1 Valley Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. 3.) Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – 4th + Offense, 4.) Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License- 4th + Offense, 5.) Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Pay for Domestic Violence originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bridgham Street in the City of Providence. Farizer was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and transported to the ACI - Men's Intake Center where he will be held as a bail violator.
At 3:57 PM, Troopers arrested Kevin Jordan, age 62 of 87 Wood Avenue, Tiverton, RI, for Reckless Driving. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident and subsequent investigation. Jordan was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
