On Monday, April 27, 2026, at 9:45 AM, Troopers arrested Nicholas W. Villafane, age 36, of 1808 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island, for Driving with a Suspended License – Certain Violations. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in the City of Providence. Villafane was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later arraigned/presented as a probation violator at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 2:25 AM, Troopers arrested Antonio Lopes, age 54, of 10 Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street, in the City of Providence. Lopes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
