At 3:15 PM, Troopers arrested Charles Sherman, age 49, of 264 Adelaide Avenue, Apt. 11, Providence, RI, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Crank or Obscene Telephone Calls. The arrest resulted from an investigation by the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and Troopers subsequently located Sherman at his residence. Sherman was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
