At 9:35 AM, Troopers arrested Robert Bell, age 30, of 280 Long Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Larceny less than $1500 out of the West Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle collision investigation on Route 37 in the City of Cranston. Bell was transported and processed at the State Police – Headquarters and turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.
At 12:00 PM, Troopers arrested Wilfredo Navedo, age 45, of 36 Carter Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trail Conference for the original charge of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle originating out of the Cranston Police Department and 2.) Violation of Protection Order – First Offense. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles to assist Capital Police. Navedo was transported to the State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed and later arraigned/presented as a bail violator at Third Division District Court.
