On April 30, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Daisy Ballou, age 29, of 64 Erie Street, Apartment 3, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Middletown Police Department for Delivery of Schedule III/IV. Ms. Ballou was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Middletown Police Department on scene.
On April 30, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Justin Belisle, age 37, of 64 Erie Street, Apartment 3, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Middletown Police Department for Delivery of Schedule III/IV. Mr. Belisle was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Middletown Police Department on scene.
On April 30, 2026, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Melissa Smith, age 56, of 1414 Ian Drive, Fernandina Beach, Florida, for the following: 1) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/ Personation Greater than $10,000.00; and 2) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes. Ms. Smith was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth District Court date.
