On Friday, May 1, 2026, at 6:30 PM, Troopers arrested Victor Ixcuna Vicente, age 49, of 187 Nash Road, Apt. 2, New Bedford, Massachusetts, for 1.) Reckless Driving – Eluding Law Enforcement in High-Speed Pursuit – First Offense; 2.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense; 3.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs BAC Unknown – First Offense; 4.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty; and 5.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of an investigation into an erratic operator on Route 195 and a subsequent motor vehicle pursuit. Vicente was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:22 AM, Troopers arrested Justine Fernandes, age 40, of 195 Chatham Street, Apt. 7, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V
